As the Gateway between Europe and Asia, Turkey offers hunting for a range of excellent trophies, some of which are an interesting cross between the European and Asian species, such as the Anatolian deer. These magnificent trophies show characteristics of both the European Red deer and the Maral, and were first hunted by the famous hunter Courtney Selous in the late 19th century.

Other trophies include the Bezoar ibex, which has the largest horns in relation to body size. Exciting hunts for very large boar are often carried out by the moon-light. There is also the Anatolian Chamois, Anatolian sheep or Konya, the Armenian sheep, Mid Asian brown bear, Roe deer, wolf and Lynx.
